I love these guys, Sam and Shaan are super smart and ahead of the game in a lot of ways. I’ve been following for about 1.5 years now. Stoked to see all the improvements being made!

Perfect mix of entertainment and business
I've binge listened to nearly every episode for one main reason.
Every podcast is starting to sound the same. Most of them are interview style podcasts mostly with infopreneurs (probably because they have big lists to promote the podcast to.)
My First Million is refreshing due to the casual conversation style between two entrepreneurs dissecting business ideas... who have ACTUALLY done real business stuff.
1. Both have had business exits. This is rare and adds to the intrigue and validity of their discussions.
2. Every time they have a guest, I'm shocked at how much the guest has accomplished. Andrew Wilkinson is the bomb.
3. Sam is hilarious with how 'frank' he is with questions and comments. Listen, and I believe you'll get a kick out of it too. He gives zero F's.
4. Shaan knows every human on the planet. And if he doesn't know their business numbers as well, he knows someone who does. His favorite phrase on the show when Sam asks, "who are you talking about", is "I can't say."
Just listen. It is freaking gold.

Eye opening and super informational
Whether you’re deep in the start up/tech world or just getting started this podcast is worth you listening. Shaan and Sam are great personalities who jump from topic to topic smoothly. Highly entertaining but also extremely informational. Highly recommend.

Better than most business books
If you are interested in business you should check out My First Million. The hosts, Shaan and Sam, both have experience building big companies. The advice they provide is backed by experience. The business ideas they spitball will get your creative juices flowing. Also the guests they have on are just as knowledgeable about building big businesses. Oh, and the show is hilarious. You can tell they’re having a blast. Just a good listen all around.

Brings out your inner entrepreneur!
These guys are amazing. This is for any type of entrepreneur. You don’t have to be in the tech space for it to be applicable. I own a construction company and this podcast keeps my fire burning to grow.

1) you guys are great with finding ideas and breaking them down and explaining how to start them
2) the fact that both of you have different characters and approach is cool

Great Insights and Guests
Shaan and Sam are, in fact, a couple of the brightest tools in the shed. Each episode they manage to strike up a great conversation without making it feel too uptight. Man, when you’re listening to their banter, you feel like joining in too. (I propose a Clubhouse session with some of the die-hard listeners)

If you’re new start with an episode with just Sam and Shaan to get the best perspective of the show
Started listening a couple of months into the pandemic and it’s become a favorite of mine for the past 10 months, much needed during covid. These guys are totally different from what’s out there - they’re direct, say what other people are too uncomfortable to say, and consistently put out great info. Love it!

The Best Podcast for hacking and business!
I've been reading the Hustle newsletter for years and now have found the "How I made my first million! I not only listen to each episode but sometimes I listen to some of them more than once. They are filled with tons of actionable steps and the latest in trends, hacks, case studies, etc! I've not only saved a ton of cash in my own business (matcha.com) but I've saved a ton of case using their hacks, knowledge, case, guest information. It's like a cheat sheet for the future!

What A Gift!!
There’s so much in this show it’s really a great educational experience for listeners. Both Sam and Shaan are great together. Different vibes but that work well combined. I frigging love this pod and look forward to each new episode!!

Lights that creative fire!
Sam and Shaan create a low barrier of entry and humble environment that even my partner, who could care less about venture/entrepreneurship content, stop to listen and ask questions about the topics these two discuss.
I’m a serial side hustler with a demanding FT job and the raw curious nature of this show is exactly what I need to keep pushing into the 13th hour.
Why 4 stars? I don’t think it’s THEE one stop shop for all startup junkies. There are a decent amount of assumptions and “stretches” on some topics that more analytical listeners may be turned off on.
That said, I love it and look forward to listening every week!

Both Saan and Sam are extremely insightful and present real, actionable insights every week.
Saan is one of the best storytellers/explainers I’ve come across in the tech/Entrepreneurship space.
Sam has a bold and audacious style coupled with practical, common sense advice.
I met my business partner in Trends. The entire community is dope.

Every show is entertaining, regardless of the topic

Everything you want in a Business Podcast
Seriously my favorite podcast - maybe ever. The amount of information, thought provocation, wisdom, insight, etc. is absurd. Haven’t missed an episode since I first started listening ~November 2020.

Best podcast I’ve heard in years
I said this on Twitter but this is the best cast I’ve listened to in forever.
The hosts do a great job dissecting niche businesses and breaking it down so even a dummy like me can understand.
