Favorite pod hands down!
The chemistry between Shaan and Sam is fantastic. They always bring the heat, bust on each other occasionally, and have a great mix of ideas to guests ratio. MFM is the only pod I religiously listen to.

Genius thread guy and jacked American talk about biz stuff
You read the title of this review and still need more?
Fine. Here goes:
That really smart guy Shaan who writes really smart guy threads on Twitter and invests in a ton of startups talks with another smart jacked American loving man who sold his biz to HubSpot about startups, businesses, and side hustle ideas.
Everything from the guests to the storytelling to the genuine ideas they share are on point.
It’s casual enough to listen in the background yet actionable enough to launch a biz solely from the research they spoon feed you.

Prepare to Flex Your Creative Muscles
I am not one to take risks - not an entrepreneurial type nor the person who grew up with lemonade stand or side hustle. I’m content in my job and my career.
But after listening to Sam and Shaan riff about business ideas, I want to go out and start ALL THE THINGS!
The real value in this podcast: hearing their perspectives on all things in life. The mental models they use, the way they deconstruct and combine ideas, and even the combination of optimism and reality they bring to business ideas - each has helped me grow and flex my own approaches and perspectives on projects in my job.
Simply put, getting exposed to their frameworks has forced me to flex my creative muscles, and for that I am grateful.

Highly Recommend
I got turned on to My First Million about a year ago and I’ve listened to every episode. If you are an entrepreneur, founder, business owner who is looking for innovative ways to grow, scale, and excel inside your company, I highly recommend these two nuckleheads. Shaan is a straight up smart dude and Sam Parr the beef, brawn, and hustle. Had these guys in my ear on many a run!

One of the best shows out there
Shaan’s tweets always intrigued me and are one of the few that get me to thinking deep about something. His podcasts do exactly the same, but at a much deeper level. His strategies, analysis, range of topics that he covers, are not only applicable to future entrepreneurs, but to anyone looking to improve their lives. One of the best podcasts out there without a doubt!

Best podcast I’ve come across
Amongst all the podcast clutter online, I’ve had so many misses on podcasts I’ve tried out. That was until I stumbled upon My First Million. These guys make every episode seem so organic and each episode I walk away with new thoughts and learnings. Great to listen to while driving, working out, or whatever you are doing! Keep it up gentlemen, the content is great.

Gets me hyped to work!
The constant grind of building a DTC ecom brand gets exhausting sometimes, but MFM podcast gets me excited about putting in the work. Great guests and engaging convos each episode. Thanks y'all!

Who would’ve thought
I’ve never had a million dollars, though I think I probably will sometime. Why? Because I’m the type of cocky that says I’ll do a lot of stuff but I usually don’t but then I do some stuff, and that remaining “stuff”? Probably will make a million.
These two have that Jim Nance/Tony Romo vibe. But neither one is solely Romo or Nance. One Nance’s, the other Romo’s, then they switch. This makes sense, trust me. It doesn’t matter anyway, bc the insights give you get give you that tickle of “maybe there is hope...somewhere...at some point”. Like maybe my Shopify gadget may actually be able to sell to people beyond those in my family I demanded needed to use it, even though the only technology they use is an iPod nano on walks along suburban American side streets.
Thanks for the pod, guys. It helps, even me.

The Most Informative There Is
Love listening to this podcast, always super insightful. Can always trust them to dive deep into the subject matters being discussed and there were a few occasions where I even felt like I directly benefited in my business knowledge just from keeping up with the episodes.

Motivation!!
I just heard Sam Paar live at the UnCon conference. Got to tell him in person that I can’t wait for every episode - I get motivated by these guys! I research what they talk about and am totally impressed with how thoroughly and honestly they talk about their journey. Great stuff!

Favorite Podcast
I could listen to this podcast all day long. There are literally too many good ideas to act on all of them I’ve never gotten more value out of a single podcast. I could argue that one episode of MFM provides more value than all of the episodes of my second favorite podcast combined. It’s that good. If you want actionable content out of a podcast, this is the one for you. Try it.

Looking for motivation?
I listen to this podcast when I’m feeling lazy, unmotivated or lost. These guys are so infectiously fired up about life, business, and making money that you immediately want to take on the world after listening. Great guests and a fun format that doesn’t seem to get old - highly recommend.

Stays interesting the whole time
Lots of business podcasts are dry as heck and sound like one giant sales pitch - not the case here. You’ll learn a ton. Big fan of the Ariel episode.

Very engaging, fun, hosts are relatable
I’ve been a fan for a year now. Shaan and Sam are fun to listen to, super curious, and go straight to the point. You can catch it from the get go that they’ll comment and suggest with no filter which is AWESOME. I recommend Sam’s episode about FatFIRE.

Guaranteed to Make You Your First Million
If you’re a nerd who likes to break down businesses, brainstorm ideas, and tackle projects, this is HANDS DOWN the best business podcast out there. Here’s what both hosts are GREAT at:
Sam: Top tier copywriter and marketer. If you ever needed to persuade something to do something, you’d want Sam by your side. Also, always has super interesting insights on how to go from 0 to 1 on your next project/business. Lastly, he’s in killer shape and talks about his fitness routine (+ his half-joking, half-serious goal to be a fitness influencer). If you like marketing, business, and fitness, there’s few better than Sam.
Shaan: I bet he could explain particle physics to a 5 year old. Shaan is an absolute master of taking complex topics (crypto, metaverse, complex biz models) and simplifying it so ANYBODY can understand it. Plus, he’s got awesome frameworks for both business and life that feel like a revelation every time he explains them. He’s like a funny, non-pretentious Naval.
So that’s the hosts. Don’t they sound awesome? They are. Come on, go and check out at least one episode. You’ll be hooked. Personally, I recommend the one with Rob Dyrdek.
