Motivating and insightful

The only podcast I look forward to listening to
Committed subscriber to The Hustle and My First Million here! Personally listening as a nonprofit c-suite exec looking to get a glimpse into the interests of donors who could give to organizations on a transformational level. Love the info I’ve found in this podcast, and truly enjoy listening to Sam and Shaan!

MFM - The BEST Podcast period.
A new take on podcasting in the business segment and podcasts in general. The transparency between Shaan and Sam is refreshing and My First Million is quickly becoming a daily addiction. Investing, Crypto, Startups, and more. Check it out.

So much value!
I have been listening since day one and always can’t wait for the next episode. If someone told me that two dudes were going to just riff on what they thought was cool and interesting I would’ve said no thanks on face value but Shaan and Sam have a great back and forth and very different styles and attitudes which work well together and make for a cool listen. The main, most important point, is that the value they bring per episode is really amazing and they do it in a very easy to understand and digest way. It is an idea factory, inside look into Silicon Valley, business in general, and a fun listen all rolled into one. Highly recommend!

These are the guys you want to listen to
Forget boring stuffy business podcasts. Shaan and Sam explain complex—and timely—topics and make them relatable, attainable and entertaining. For anyone interested in what’s going on in crypto, NFTs, weird entrepreneurial flexes, side hustle ideas, etc. this is for you. Even if you’re not an entrepreneur, which I’m in, there’s a lot to unpack here.
I refused to listen to any podcasts before my boyfriend introduced me to this one in March 2020 and I haven’t missed one since.

Shaan, Abreu, and Sam (SaaS) are 3 peas in a Pod
I’ve been listening to this Pod since day 1 when it was only Shaan interviewing guest. They have pivoted this pod into something I listen to everyday while I work/drive/run. They have so much knowledge and know give non-bias content. Keep on pushing Fellas!

Great archive
If you’re looking to build a business, start about 10 episodes back and go in reverse. Absolute gold. 5 stars. Unfortunately they changed the topic to “My 100th Million” and now spend episodes talking about things like starting your own rolling fund and how if you’re famous and connected you can get in on pyramid schemes before the dumb money gets taken. Less useful for me.

It’s taking me so long

Just listened to the pod about The Hustle getting acquired and Shaan won’t stop talking about himself for more then 10 seconds to let Sam or the guest talk. I’m happy for him that he loves himself so much but it’s not good for the pod. I’ve been listening for a long time so this isn’t a one and done review.

The best podcast!
I’ve been listening to MFM for over a year and it is the best business and ideas podcast out there.
Reason #1 Shaan and Sam are hilarious and I love that they aren’t politically correct. They’re both authentic and vulnerable with their stories which is very hard to find.
Reason #2 Stories, Stories, and more Stories. They are amazing story tellers and always have new stories to bring up in every single episode. Other podcasts get boring because they bring up the same business concepts without backing it up with any authentic stories.
Reason #3 The Guests. Their guests are super diverse and can be anywhere from VCs, Entrepreneurs, to CEO of unicorns. My only feedback is that I actually enjoy the small-mid size business owners as guests than the CEO of a massive business due to the CEO being far more politically correct with their answers and more likely to market their product.
Keep it up guys! I love your show and I can honestly say I’ve learned more from your podcast then I have in business school.

Brain Food
I made a New Years Resolution to listen to more podcasts, didn’t quite know what I wanted to gain from it. My brother recommended MFM and I realized that I didn’t want to listen to “more podcasts” I was looking for this exact podcast. It goes beyond just a couple people chatting about their business or new ideas, it’s fuel for innovation and actual stimulates my brain to think up new ideas. Fantastic, look forward to hopefully meeting and working with Shaan and Sam one day.

Great show! Pompous guests
Love listening to the show, but some of the guests are so full of themselves it’s off putting. I’m sure that’s normal in the SF tech scene, but I prefer hearing the guys riffing on ideas - not over confident guests explaining how genius their angel investments are.

Great podcast
Great podcast. Love the chemistry and content. Thoughts for Sam- sometimes Sean gets on a roll with useful information or an interesting thought and Sam will interrupt with a slightly irrelevant thought which doesn’t always add much value to the conversation

Best Business podcast
I rarely leave reviews on podcast but you guys dynamic is interesting. I find myself going back to previous episodes. Also I found this podcast in my recommended episodes tab at the bottom. Lucky me. I also like how you guys show that making money is possible. Who would think a board game can do so much in sales :0. The story telling is phenomenal I felt like I learned so much in just so little time. Lastly the creative ideas are something else on this podcast !!!

Awesome spitfire ideas!
This is the WAP of podcasts!! If you really want to boost your energy listen at 1.5 times like I do, it really pumps you up on the ideas... however, be wary of the app accidentally going to 2x when you fat finger something.... has happened a few times to me and I was wondering who gave them extra coffee today...
